PETALING JAYA: A network, known as Lawyers for Animal Rights (LAR), has urged the authorities to investigate the suspects behind the killing of a pregnant cat in a launderette under the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) 2015.
In a statement on Monday (Sept 17), the group said that due to the severity of the crime, the suspects should be investigated under Section 30 of the Act as it provided for a heavier punishment should the suspects be charged.
