Low on the list but they are still a Malaysian favourite

Comfort food: Roti canai and char koay teow are ranked No. 404 and No. 432 respectively on Lonely Planet’s Ultimate Eatlist.

PETALING JAYA: Roti canai and char koay teow may rank much lower than curry laksa on Lonely Planet’s latest eatlist, they are nonetheless firm favourites of Malaysians, including chefs and restaurateurs.

Last week, the famous travel website released its Ultimate Eatlist of 500 best eating experiences, which had Malaysia’s curry laksa at No. 2, beating sushi from Tokyo and the chilli crab from Singapore. Ten other Malaysian dishes made it to the list too.
