MIC’s Wanita chief Mohana ready to take on the men in Kapar

KLANG: The sole woman contender for the Kapar parliamentary seat, Mohana Muniandy Raman (pic) of MIC, is ready for the tough fight that is headed her way.

“I am not intimidated by the fact that I am the only woman in this group.

“In fact, I see it as an advantage that I will use to ensure a victory for myself, MIC and Barisan Nasional,” said the 42-year-old MIC Wanita chief at the nomination centre at Pejabat Daerah/Tanah Klang here.

“There are many registered women voters in this constituency and that gives me the edge to win this contest,” she said.

Mohana is contesting against former Kapar MP Manikavasagam Sundaram (PRM), Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid (PKR) and Abd Rani Osman (PAS).
