JPJ denies viral message of VEP for foreign cars


PETALING JAYA: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has refuted a viral message on social media claiming that all Singaporean-registered vehicles entering peninsular Malaysia must register with the department's  "Vehicle Entry Permit" (VEP)  system .

The viral message on WhatsApp and social media sites urged people to register their vehicles from May 1 if they intend to bring their foreign-registered vehicle into the country to vote during the general election.
