BANGKOK: Thai anti-narcotics police arrested two local men and seized 447kg of “Ice” (crystal methamphetamine) in the southern town of Haadyai before the drugs could be smuggled across the border into Malaysia.
Narcotics Suppression Bureau chief Lt Gen Sommai Kongvisaisuk said the operation, which took place yesterday, also received cooperation from Malaysian anti-drug police at the border.
