Two Sarawak football players, 'bookie' remanded in match-fixing probe


KUCHING: Two Sarawak football players and a man believed to be a “bookie” were remanded for six days in a match-fixing probe over the defeat of the state football team against Felcra FC last Saturday (Feb 10). 

Magistrate Portia Tham Ong Leng granted the order to remand the three suspects till Feb 21 after they were produced in court by the Malaysian Anti-Commission (MACC) here Thursday (Feb 15).
