Rosmah joins wife of Turkish president for lunch

PETALING JAYA: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor joined the wife of Turkish president Emine Erdogan for lunch Thursday (Dec 14) at the presidential palace following the Extraordinary Islamic Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting in Turkey. 

In a photo posted by Bernama, Rosmah was seen holding hands with Emine while in another picture, she was seen listening attentively to a speech that was being made by the Turkish president's wife.

Rosmah accompanied her husband Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to the summit in Istanbul on Wednesday (Dec 13).

It was held at the request of Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in his capacity as the chair of the 13th Islamic Summit. following the announcement by the United States on Dec 6 to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
