Zahid: Can't confirm if 20 Uighur detainees escaped to Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has no confirmation if the 20 Uighur men who escaped from the Immigration detention centre in Sadao, Thailand have entered the country.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic) said the Malaysian authorities have received information (of the escape) from the Thais.
