We were privileged to enjoy his presence, say family of the late Yeoh Tiong Lay

PETALING JAYA: The family of Tan Sri Yeoh Tiong Lay have expressed their sadness over the death of the billionaire.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of the head of our family, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr Yeoh Tiong Lay, but comforted that he has gone home to our Lord Jesus Christ.

“We are four generations that have had the privilege of enjoying his presence for 88 years and he will be truly missed,” his family members said in a statement issued Thursday.

Dr Yeoh’s family members said that family members and friends can pay their last respects on Thursday, Oct 19 from 7pm onwards at 2 Lorong Buloh Perindu 1, Damansara Heights, 59000 Kuala Lumpur.

The family members also said that the wake services will be held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8.30pm.

The funeral will be held on Sunday Oct 22 at 10am and the cortege will then depart to Nilai Memorial Park at 12pm.
