GEORGE TOWN: The comment by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng that the flash floods were due to weather conditions has not gone down well with a Penang MCA leader.
Penang MCA Youth chief Datuk Michael Lee said it was apparent that the floods and landslide problems were due to the state government’s inefficiency in building proper drainage coupled with “reckless” approval of hillslope development and construction projects.
