988 FM producer killed in crash on LDP

PETALING JAYA: A radio producer with 988 FM was killed in an accident involving three vehicles along the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP).  

Tai Hwan Perng (pic), 47, died at the scene from internal injuries at KM7.6 of the highway heading towards Puchong at around 3pm Monday. 

It is believed that Tai had lost control of his vehicle causing him to hit a motorcycle and the side of a bus.

The impact also damaged the bonnet of his car.  

The motorcyclist sustained light injuries to his hands and feet.  

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said the body of the victim was sent to University Malaya Medical Centre for a post-mortem.  

The case has been classified as causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
