'Bullet-proof' counters prevent jewellery heist at Shah Alam mall

PETALING JAYA: Thanks to "bullet-proof" display counters, a group of hammer-wielding robbers failed to remove jewellery from an outlet in a Shah Alam mall on Monday.

Despite continuously swinging their hammers against the showcase counters with great effort, the robbers were unable to break through the durable material and were forced to flee empty-handed.
