Rush for E-Cards at Immigration counters

PUTRAJAYA: Counters at the Immigration Department here are brimming with employers and employees applying for E-Cards ahead of the June 30 deadline.

Immigration Department director-general Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali (pic) in a statement Wednesday said even though it had opened up the maximum number of counters, it was not enough, adding that the long queue was due to those waiting till the last minute to apply for the E-Cards.
