Remand extended for MACC officer accused of extortion

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Police have extended the remand for a 38-year-old Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer who allegedly extorted money from a policeman.

Magistrate Nurulrasyidah Mohd Akit granted a two-day remand extension for the officer until Wednesday, after he arrived at the court here at 9.35am Monday.
