Veteran journalist Rehman dies at 62


PETALING JAYA: Veteran journalist and A Malaysian Journey author Rehman Rashid, who suffered a heart attack early this year, has died. He was 62. His brother Rafique, 59, said Rehman passed away in Hospital Selayang, where he had been warded after suffering the heart attack while cycling on Jan 26.

“My brother was a perfectionist and instilled that ethic in many. He was also a historian and wanted Malaysians to know where they came from, if they wanted to know who they are and where they’re going.
