MMEA seizes contraband ciggies worth RM120,000 in Sungai Rengit

BATU PAHAT: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has seized a total of 1,200 cartons of contraband cigarettes worth RM120,000 in Sungai Rengit near here.

Its Batu Pahat director Lieutenant Commander Maritime Muhammad Zulkarnain Abdullah said that the cigarettes were found on a boat and were believed to have been smuggled from Indonesia into the country.
