One rule for non-Muslim places of worship

PETALING JAYA: Non-Muslim places of worship need to meet only one condition in Petaling Jaya – that they are built on land gazetted for such purpose, says City Council (MBPJ) public relations officer Zainun Zakariah.

“Our existing guidelines do not have any other specific details such as the proximity to residential homes or whether the building should be located in a commercial or residential area,” she said when met yesterday.
