Couple held for stealing body for black magic

A COUPLE in Tamil Nadu were detained for stealing a dead woman’s body to conduct black magic rituals, Malaysia Nanban reported.

S. Karthigeyan, 32, and his wife reportedly bribed workers at a local graveyard to get the body.

He then allegedly conducted rituals and prayers while sitting on the body, to help local politicians win elections.

The couple, who conducted the rituals in their rented home, had apparently conducted similar rites for upcoming cinema stars to attain success and fame.

Police seized several recordings of such rituals being conducted along with human skulls and banned animal remains.
