KUCHING: A male orang utan was born at the Matang Wildlife Centre here, the first at the rehabilitation facility in eight years.

The birth was announced by Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) chief executive Wong Ting Chung during the handover of a pick-up truck from Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia at the centre yesterday.
