Man tries to beat dog, owner kills him instead


KOTA KINABALU: A man, suspected to have been drunk, tried to kill a barking dog but instead ended up getting killed after a fracas with the dog’s owner at a squatter settlement near Taman Mutiara along Jalan Utara in Sandakan.

Sandakan police chief Asst Comm Mohd Azhar Hamin said the victim was unhappy with the dog barking at him and tried to hit it with a rod, but instead hit the dog owner’s pre-teen son.
