IIUM confers honorary doctorate on Saudi's King Salman

GOMBAK: Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud has been conferred an honorary doctorate of philosophy in Political Science (Islam and Wasatiyyah) by the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

The honorary degree and a Lifetime Outstanding Achievement Award were presented at a special convocation ceremony on Tuesday night at the IIUM Cultural Centre by Pahang ruler Sultan Ahmad Shah, who is the university's constitutional head.
