Man beaten up by passers-by for kissing DBKL traffic warden

A MAN who brazenly kissed an on-duty female officer of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) was beaten up by passers-by, Harian Metro reported.

The 27-year-old officer was issuing summonses for illegally parked cars in Jalan Gading, Bukit Bintang, with a colleague when the incident happened on Wednesday night.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Sukri Kaman said the suspect, 35, was earlier seen loitering near a hotel in the area.

“He then approached the victim and complimented her on her looks.

“The victim told him off and said she was doing her job but he became aggressive and cupped the victim’s face with his hands before kissing her,” he said.

The paper said members of the public then beat up the man for his inappropriate act.

The 25-year-old actress said she is close to her 16-year-old brother and has no regrets uploading the video.

“It is ridiculous to view the video in a negative light and even more absurd to associate it with the word incest,” she said.

Ruhainies said that those who are close to their siblings would have done the same and that her brother was unaffected by the brouhaha.

“This matter might have been taken a little too seriously because I am a celebrity,” she added.

> A man known as Ayie Buih, known for robbing victims at gunpoint in the middle of the road, was caught by police in Tumpat, Kelantan, on Tuesday night.

The 31-year-old was arrested when he acted suspiciously during a roadblock in Jalan Wakaf Bharu, Sinar Harian reported.

Kelantan police chief Datuk Dr Ab Rahman Ismail said a fake gun, believed to have been bought in Thailand for RM100, was found tucked at the back of the suspect’s waist during a body search.

He has a criminal record for theft, blackmailing and drug offences.

Police also seized a motorcycle and helmet worth around RM2,000, believed to be stolen goods, and a sharpened metal rod.
