KJ: Ministers ‘barred’ from top posts in sports bodies

KUALA LUMPUR: Federal ministers are not allowed to contest for positions in sports associations without prior consent from the Prime Minister.

In saying this, Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the Cabinet made the ruling to discourage ministers from jostling for top posts in sports associations, including football associations.
