Man in a bind over penis ring

JOHOR BARU: A 41-year-old man put on a penis ring and suffered three days of pain when he couldn’t remove it.

He tried many times before giving up and heading to a hospital for help.

A Johor Baru Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the victim was at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital emergency unit yesterday.

The man was scheduled to undergo a two-hour surgical procedure and firemen were put on standby to assist, he said.

As of press time, the victim was still in the operating theatre.
