In Bersih 5 t-shirt, Dr Mahathir urges Malaysians to join rally


PETALING JAYA: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (pix), who banned protests and assemblies during his 22 years as prime minister, appeared on a video urging Malaysians to participate in the Bersih 5.0 rally on Nov 19.

Clad in a Bersih t-shirt, Dr Mahathir, 92, said Malaysians need to show their dissatisfaction with the government through participation in Bersih at Dataran Merdeka and other places.
