No arson in fire that destroyed ministry official's car, say police

PUTRAJAYA: Refuting a viral text message, police said a fire that destroyed a car belonging to a Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs officer on Monday night was not an act of arson.

Putrajaya OCPD Asst Comm Rosly Hassan said during the 8.30pm incident, the wife of the officer had returned home in Presint 9 after buying food in a Honda Accord.
