Fadillah: No toll hikes for four highways, will cost Government RM60mil


KUALA LUMPUR: The Government is forking out RM59.77mil in compensation to four highway concessionaires to defer any toll hike for this year and next, Parliament heard.

Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said the Cabinet had agreed that compensation be paid if the concessionaires do not increase tolls for the Eastern Dispersal Link (EDL), Kajang-Seremban Highway (Lekas), Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE), and Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE).
