PETALING JAYA: For one Japanese comedian, a zany song-and-dance routine has borne fruit in the form of worldwide Internet fame.

In the latest bit of ridiculous genius to go viral, the Piko-Taro character created by DJ Kosaka Daimaou sings PPAP, a nonsensical song about a pen and an apple and a pen and a pineapple.
