KLANG: Strong toxic smell forced the closure of the Semenyih water treatment plant on Saturday leaving hundreds of thousands of households in Hulu Langat, Petaling Jaya, Kuala Langat and Sepang districts without supply.

Water supply has since resumed and a full recovery is expected by 1am on Wednesday.
