KUALA LUMPUR: The Federation of Hokkien Associations Malaysia is not satisfied with the explanation given by PAS over its Private Member’s Bill aimed at expanding the powers of the Syariah Court, that is expected to be tabled in the upcoming Parliament sitting next month.
Its president Tan Sri Khoo Chai Kaa said many were still unclear about the Bill’s powers and jurisdiction, especially that which touches on the rights of non-Muslims.
