PETALING JAYA: Malay rights group Perkasa said that it stands by the decision to have separate language categories in the upcoming Malaysia Film Festival (FFM), as long as it was done to honour Malay as the national language.
Perkasa said in a statement on Tuesday that it would “stand resolute” with the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) and Malaysia Film Producers Association (PFM) if they made their decision based on the Federal Constitution.
