Amputation of limbs not cruel if it saves society, says Kelantan PAS leader

KOTA BARU: Kelantan Deputy Mentri Besar Datuk Mohd Amar Abdullah (pic) said hand amputation of hudud law offenders is to save the society and thereby not cruel.

He said the severing of wrists was akin to a doctor amputating a diabetic patient’s limbs.
