Former Navy officer fined RM100,000 for graft

IPOH: A former Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) officer was fined RM100,000 by the Sessions Court after he pleaded guilty to six counts of corruption involving more than RM1.5mil.

Judge S. Indra Nehru ordered Lt-Kmdr Khairul Izwan Mohd Khair, 38, to pay the fine after he changed his plea.
