Cousins drown in picnic tragedy

SETIU: A family picnic ended in tragedy when three cousins drowned at the Ulu Seladang, Lata Chakah waterfalls here.

Setiu district police chief Deputy Superintendent Elias Abu Bakar said the dead, all women, were identified as self-employed Asiyah Zakirah Abd Rahman, 23, from Kampung Tok Bok, Machang, Kelantan; UiTM student Fatin Atirah Ahmad Sabri, 21, and Asma Saari, 20, a medical student in Egypt, both of whom were from Kampung Surau, Pulai Chondong, Machang.
