'Dr Mahathir's new party plan has no impact on BN'

MUAR: A Deputy Minister says the formation of a new party in the country following Dr Mahathir Mohamad's announcement will not be a threat to Barisan Nasional.  

On Thursday, the former premier announced that an Opposition pact, involving a new party, PKR, DAP and Parti Amanah Negara, would be set up to challenge Barisan in the 14th general election.
