NSC proposes visa requirement for Middle Eastern visitors to counter IS threat

TUMPAT: The National Security Council is proposing that Malaysia introduces a visa requirement for Middle Eastern visitors to check the entry of Islamic State (IS) militants into the country.

NSC secretary Datuk Seri Alias Ahmad (pic) said Malaysia has imposed visa requirements on 34 of 201 countries, mostly from the African continent.
