Saudi tourist drowns at Langkawi lake

LANGKAWI: A holiday trip by a family from Saudi Arabia to Tasik Dayang Bunting here ended in tragedy when one of the tourists drowned after he slipped and fell into the lake on Thursday.

In the incident, which occurred at about 5.30pm, the young tourist, identified as Alahmadi Hussain Fuada, 19, was believed to have slipped and fallen from the floating platform at the lake.
