Fire results in bleak festive season for families

KOTA KINABALU: Dozens of families in the northern Kudat district are facing a bleak Hari Raya after more than 50 houses were destroyed in an early morning blaze.

There were no reports of casualties in the 1.45am fire yesterday that swept through Kampung Tanjung Kapor settlement, about 2km from Kudat town.
