School denies RM100 for ‘fashionable hairstyle’ was a fine


ALOR SETAR: A secondary school here has been put in the spotlight after a female student was allegedly fined RM100 for coming to school with a “fashionable hairstyle.”

The incident came to light when a copy of a letter from the school’s Unit Disiplin Pelajar (Student Discipline Unit) was shared on Facebook on Tuesday. The post was accompanied by a picture of the “fashionable hairstyle”.
