New Act soon to tighten security at Thai border

BUKIT KAYU HITAM: The Malaysian Border Security Agency (Aksem) will enforce security control along the Malaysia-Thailand border under a special legislation that will be tabled in Parliament at the end of this year.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who announced this, said the new Act would empower Aksem in enforcing the law pertaining to border security.
