Alwi takes tough townhall meeting in stride


PUTRAJAYA: Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Alwi Ibrahim was a picture of calm as he was bombarded with questions at a townhall meeting on the just-released Auditor-General’s 2015 Report Series 1.

One journalist wanted to know why some 3,500 foreign workers, who were medically unfit, were given permits to work in Malaysia, possibly exposing citizens to diseases and health issues.
