Anwar and family apply for prison visit review


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his family are seeking for leave to initiate a judicial review proceedings against the authorities for denying them physical contact during their visits to the Sungai Buloh prison. His four eldest grandchildren are claiming they have been deprived of hugs from the PKR leader, said his lawyer Latheefa Koya, describing their court action as a test case.

Anwar, his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, their four daughters Nurul Izzah, Nurul Nuha, Nurul Ilham and Nurul Iman as well as their four eldest grandchildren were named as applicants.
