RAWANG: A woman and her seven-month-old baby were found murdered in their home at Taman Rawang Putra, here.

The incident was discovered at around 10.30am on Thursday.

The body of the 33-year-old woman and the infant were found in a room on the ground floor of the double storey terrace house in Jalan RP10/9.

The woman's husband, a tanker driver, had gone to work at the time.

Sources said both bodies had swellings on the neck and bleeding from the mouth.

"The woman's body was found on the floor in the room while the infant was found dead on a bed in the same room.

"The exact time of the murders and the motive have yet to be determined," he said, adding that the bodies have been sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital for post-mortem.
