Ex-Johor Perhilitan director acquitted of rhino horn theft

JOHOR BARU: The Sessions Court here has acquitted and discharged a former director of the state Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) on a charge of stealing a century-old rhinoceros horn from the Johor Royal Museum in October last year.

Judge Sabariah Atan made the decision after the prosecution withdrew charges against the accused, Yusoff Shariff (pic), 47.
