No plans to expand project to aid teachers

THE special project to ease the workload of teachers, which was introduced in Malacca and Kedah, will not be expanded to other states due to financial constraints, said the Education Ministry.

Its Deputy Minister Datuk Chong Sin Woon told the Dewan Rakyat that the initiative, under the repositioning of teachers’ core duties, was introduced in the two states early this year with the aim of expanding it nationwide.
