PETALING JAYA: Sarawak laksa, a hitherto unknown dish outside of Malaysia, is set to be a new global gastronomic discovery, thanks to world-renowned chef Anthony Bourdain.

Together with dishes from other parts of the world, including beef brisket and shrimp wonton noodle soup from Hong Kong, cod and octopus ceviche tostada from Mexico, bun thai from Vietnam and Geylang claypot rice from Singapore, Sarawak laksa has made it into the top 10 wish list of the 53-year-old chef and TV personality.
