‘72 monkey tricks’ up at temple

Monkey business: Four of the 72 monkey lanterns lit up during the inauguration of the temple’s Lantern and Floral Festival in Jenjarom, Selangor.

JENJAROM: Every year, the Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple here launches a Lantern and Floral Festival to usher in the Chinese New Year.

And this time, a total of 72 monkey-shaped lanterns adorn the temple grounds to usher in the Year of the Monkey.
