JOHOR BARU: The Kelantan Welfare Department assistant director has been charged with submitting false claims of RM5,000 when he was still working in the Mersing office in 2013.
Syed Mohd Abdul Ghani Syed Ali, 54, pleaded not guilty at a Sessions Court here to making the claims when he was the officer with the Mersing District Welfare Department.
