KUALA LUMPUR: A jobless man was sentenced to five years’ jail and ordered to be whipped four times by a Sessions Court here for two counts of cheating a couple and a teacher of RM30,000.
In the first case, Mazrin Abd Aziz, 39, was charged with cheating teacher Nur Zaiti Ikmal Dzainuddin by convincing her that he could sell a house in Taman Selayang Mutiara, Batu Caves here for RM280,000, although the house did not belong to him.
