ALOR SETAR: Holders of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) have been able to become civil servants by serving as schoolteachers since 2012, says Chong Sin Woon.
The Deputy Education Minister said their qualification was accepted as long as they also had a credit in Bahasa Malaysia at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia level.
